Hitched for the Holidays (2012)

Movie Summary

When commitment-phobe Rob Marino breaks up with his girlfriend before Thanksgiving, he is criticized by his big Italian family about his inability to keep a relationship through the holidays. Wanting to prove them wrong and fulfill his dying grandmother’s wish to see him happy in love, Rob goes online and finds Julie, another single New Yorker who’s meddling Jewish mom, has driven her to seek a temporary boyfriend. Rob and Julie agree to pose as a couple through the holidays to get their families off their backs. But things get complicated when Rob’s Catholic clan and Julie’s Jewish family get involved. With Christmas coming and Hanukkah around the corner, they double their efforts to keep the charade going, only to discover their fake feelings may be a little too real.

I’d like to see Hitched for the Holidays as well! Hallmark hasn’t played it for over two years. I search for it during the Christmas in July as well as the October start of Christmas movies. Very disappointed that Hallmark has pushed it in the back burner!

Hitched for the Holidays hasn’t been on TV SINCE 2018! Why is that? It’s such a funny movie and I check the schedule each time the Christmas movies are played in July and when they started October 23rd! Please play it again! Another great movie that hasn’t played for a couple of years is A Season for Miracles. I’m sure both those movies can be squeezed into the schedule by removing some that are repeated over and over during the holiday season. Should I say pretty please? Lol Thank you!

Am so very happy Hallmark’s countdown to Christmas is airing again this year. Watched all of the 2013 New ones and looking forward to the new ones for this year.
The only thing is I miss the schedule listing as it was presented last year. This year it is much harder to find when the show airs next if you are unable to catch on the premier airing. Is there maybe a spot I am missing? It was such a nice and easy to find schedule last year…this year is not any way as easy to navigate ..or hi-lite when to catch it next. Thanks!! And thanks so very much for bringing us all these wonderful movies!!! Love them!!
