The 1994 version of Miracle on 34th Street is on the FreeForm channel, FRFMHD. It’s got a few twists and turns that r a bit different than the original but it’s pretty good.

Bahumbug to AMC for not showing Miracle on 34th street (1947), Its a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story. Elf and National Lampoon is on every day. The programming department needs an overhaul. Until this changes I am boycotting AMC and hope others do as well.

I believe Disney owns the rights now and that’s why it’s not going to be on a regular station. Sadness.

It’s a Wonderful (1947 James Stewart) is playing all day long on channel E! Starting at 5:00AM (run time 3 hours). Not sure what your movie preferences are but a lot of other holiday classics on channel TCM. It Happened on 5th Avenue (1947 Don DeFore); The Shop Around the Corner (1940 James Stewart); Christmas in Connecticut (1945 Barbara Stanwyck); Meet me in St Louis (1944 Judy Garland); others. Like you, I’ve yet to find Miracle on 34th Street on any cable channel. Really sad. I can’t stand all the modern and ridiculous Christmas movies—bunch of garbage. And don’t get me started on the Hallmark channel. Satan has taken over.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) online has the 1947 B&W version of Miracle of 34th St available if your television provider includes TCM.

I totally agree, I’ve not found any traditional christmas movies and I have spectrum cable. Shame on the stations for not having the traditional christmas movies. It doesn’t feel like christmas without those.

I was looking for it as well, the only thing I found was HBO and one day……it really irks me that it is not on. Netflix only has the 1994 version which stinks. Very unhappy

The old Christmas movies are the best and what we were raised on! It’s very sad for the younger generation not to be able to see, enjoy and learn the magic of Miracle on 34th Street, The Bells of St. Marys, and so many more with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye!!! Bring them back!!!

I don’t think this page even reads our comments. Except for us that post it goes unanswered, I posted on FB and sent to Public just to air my displeasure in this seasons line up. It’s a real shame, I remember when you couldn’t decide what to watch cause they were on all the same time, but at least they were on. Boomerang has a lot of the cartoons but if you don’t pay for it you can’t get them.

Merry Christmas to all that post
