No Elf this year? It’s a holidiay tradition and usually plays a ton of times. Not even once. Super disappointing!

This is where I ordered my copy from since they don’t show it anymore.
Where is “Christmas Every Day” From 1996 when it was 25 days of Christmas Family Channel.
Where is Charlie Brown Christmas, 😢
Thursday 12/5/19 @ 8:00pm on ABC
hello. Can someone please tell me where and when I can watch A Very Brady Christmas this year? Thanks.
It’s on Hulu !
Please add each year Mimi Rogers Christmas list
I agree it was a fun and very jolly Christmas movie. I would be very excited to see it again.
I agree! I want to see The Christmas List with Mimi Rogers!
100% agree! What a wonderful movie, but I can’t find it anywhere!
I totally agree. Please, please show The Christmas List with Mimi Rogers. It’s one of my favorites. And please put it on DVD. Let’s hope the people at Disney read the Website and listen to us all. Thank you.
YES! Would love to see The Christmas List each year!
With all the movies Disney has and all the great Christmas movies and classics available, why are the same movies on night after night? and year after year?
I would love to see The Christmas List again. It hasn’t aired since 2012 and isn’t available on DVD. Is there a chance this could happen at some point?

IS THE NUTCRACKER ON TV THIS CHRISTMAS? I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A CLASSIC PRODUCTION OF THIS BEAUTIFUL BALLET AGAIN! PLEASE REPLY!
Very disappointed with this lineup this year. Looking for classics like “The Christmas List” with Mimi Rogers, Polar Express, Home Alone, Elf, and Christmas Vacation. Will be tuning in elsewhere this year.
AMC has definitely offered better shows this year over Freeform. We usually look forward to tuning into Freeform, but ever since it switched from being ABC Family, this year especially, the shows have been lacking that classic Christmas quality. I even noticed this morning while watching Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too and the cartoon has been modified. Christopher Robin now has an accent, but for not in the 1991 version. What’s the point with changing this children’s classic? Bring back Christmas Vacation, Polar Express, Home Alone 1 and 2, etc. Very few people care about movies like Life Size and Hone Alone 3. We will continue to watch AMC and TBS this year.
I agree! What a disappointing line up! What happened to the classics? Christmas Vac, Polar Exp, Elf, Home Alone? What’s with these crappy generic movies? Let me guess…someone’s offended by the classic!!?
Would like to watch the 1997 version of the Christmas List
starring Mimi Rogers. Dvd not available
You used to post the word of the day for bonus Disney Reward points, are you still doing that. I have watched the first hour of todays movie and haven’t seen the word.
This is seriously the most disappointing line up Ive ever seen. I look forward to 25 days of Christmas all year long. I PRAY another station picks up where you all lacked this year.
I was super excited that I have cable again and could watch the 25 days of Christmas. Boy was I very disappointed when I looked at the schedule. It is the same movies and shows over and over and over. I used to get excited to see what show would be on the next day. I know that they used to play a lot more variety of shows like the old Grinch. I am not sure why they think everyone wants to watch the new Grinch every other day. All of the older shows are playing at 7 in the morning, do you think that those of us that want to watch those shows are so old that we wouldn’t be up to play it at night? 😉 I am sad to say I won’t be tuning in this year. I hope next year they take all of our comments into consideration and play new shows each day instead of the ones they played two days ago. There are so many great Christmas shows that maybe we would want our kids to see from our child hoods and we could watch it as a “family”.
Is there any way you guys could play some of the classic Christmas shows(classic to me lol) like: lampoons Christmas vacation, The Christmas Story, The original How the Grinch stoke Christmas, It’s a wonderful life, Home Alone 1&2, Frosty the snowman, Rudolph Red nose Reindeer, Santa Claus is coming to town. It’s a wonderful life. Those to me are good ol’ Christmas movies! Doesn’t look like none of those are playing this year 🙁
Please advise why you are not showing Three Days with Kristian Davis it has a excellent messages that we all can learn from. It’s a beautiful story why don’t you want it told?
I second that
I agree
I agree
Agree…been looking for this movie on tv every year!
Polar express!!!!
Hello. Can you please show A Very Brady Christmas this year? I would appreciate it if you could. Thank you.
A Very Brady Christmas is on METV on December 2, 2018 at 6:00 PM (EST)

Hi Gail, A Very Brady Christmas will air Dec 2nd on MeTV:
https://www.countdownuntilchristmas.com/christmas-movies-a-to-z/a-very-brady-christmas/
I love you DOMINIC PETRULLO ChiI
The Little drummer Boy and Drummer Boy Book 2 Santa Claus Is Coming To Town Year Without A Santa Claus are hardly ever broadcast and if they are its either in the early morning hours from midnight through 6 am middle of the day or late in the afternoon
Please show three days this year and Christmas shoes thank you
Three days please!!
Please, please, please, The Christmas List with Mimi Rogers. It’s the best movie.
I like that movie too. One of my favorites. I don’t know why they don’t make it available on DVD.
I love that movie, haven’t seen it in years. No channel airs it!😔
I love this movie too, nd nobody air it anymore.
The last time it was aired was in 2012.
I agree
Alot of us would love to see The Christmas List 1997 with MiMi Rodgers please show your Christmas spirit and air the movie! Make alot of us very hapoy! Thank you Abc!
Can you please show Naughty or Nice 2004 starring George Lopez – please!!!
PLEASE PUT CHRISTMAS LIST AND RANKIN BASS MARATHON ON YOUR SCHEDULE FOR 2018.
THANK YOU
Hi Helen My Question to You is Will There be More Rankin Bass Christmas Specials On ABC Family/Freeform Besides Santa Claus is Comin to Town 1969 & The Year Without a Santa Claus 1974 ???…
I would love if they bring back The Life & Adventures of Santa Claus
Hi!
I totally agree. Every year about this time, I check to see if the Life and Adventures of Santa Claus is on the schedule. Unfortunately, it’s not there again this year.
I feel like I’m “forgotten again” like the toys on the Island of Misfit Toys.
I have to agree a Rankin-Bass marathon would be fabulous. Movies are great but lot of us like the classics
Hi Sue, AMC will be running a Rankin-Bass marathon this Friday the 7th:
https://www.countdownuntilchristmas.com/channel/american-movie-classics-channel-amc/
I want to see Home Alone 1 and Home Alone 2! Too many repeat movies! Terrible line up!
Terrible lineup. No Christmas classic specials just junk and the same movies. You used to do an awesome job but now nothing but garbage and the same repeated movies. Maybe it was the channel name change that did it. Whatever it was was a horrible decision. Severely disappointed this year!
I agree with you. some of the all time great classic Christmas movies are missing and some the movies from 2001 thru 2004 are missing. There should be a mixture in the Christmas shows for this year.
Why is Freeform Limited This Year with The Rankin Bass Christmas Specials ???.
While I consider myself and my family conservative, I realize there are lots of different family types and other ways of living beside what we consider normal. However, with a name like ABC family, it should be expected that families with children shouldn’t have to censor their children from the commercials on this channel. Commercials that are mostly advertisements of what you show on this network. While watching a family movie, we had to turn down the volume as parades of commercials came across talking about teenage promiscuity, violence, kissing boys and other “normal” teenage activities. This is why we no longer have cable television.
Greetings anonymous. You are totally right. It gets super annoying that clearly adult material should not be shown on a network named ABC family. Great job knowing it’s wrong👍.
Are you showing Fred Claus?
please put on the rankin bass classics, also the polar express and the Grinch.lessofo elf and Christmas vacation
I Agree with that a 1,000 % Percent and NOT Leave Out The First Rankin Bass Special Presentations of 1964’s Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer 1968’s Frosty The Snowman,The First Christmas,The Adventures of Santa Claus,1980 Pinocchio’s Christmas, & The Leprechaun’s First Christmas Gold of 1981.
I agree as well. I think ALL of the old Claymation specials, the originals, are the very best!!
If I see Elf one more time I am going to scream. Why is Elf and Christmas vacation always playing
What happened to the classics like Santa baby or snow globe or prancer or the snow movies? I miss those movies more than ever & they never play them at Christmas anymore!
Because they are good movies
I am so upset by this years line up. It’s the same movie every night and there are so many good ones. One of the reasons I keep cable is for the Christmas movies and this makes me want to cancel.
I love the polar express 🚅
Please play three days it will not feel like Christmas at my house without that movie
I look forward to 25 days of Christmas. But can you tell me why there is all repeats. I’m so sick of turning it on each day only to find the same movies as yesterday. With all the Christmas movies out there, you feel the need to play the same ones? How many times do we have to watch Elf, Lampoons Christmas vacation, The Santa Claus and even Polar Express? You guys need to look into other Christmas movies and play them too. Also space them out more. Not sure who’s in charge of organizing this, but they need someone else.
I completely agree, I am actually writing an editorial piece for my high school newspaper and was wondering if I could use some of your quotes in my piece. I would give you credit to the quote and when the article is published I could attach the link, so you could read it. It would be greatly appreciated.
Merry Christmas!
I agree! I want more of the classics. Elf and Christmas vacation is on ALL THE TIME
I would like more Rankin/Bass Films. That would be great!
I want to see more traditional Christmas cartoons. Like the animated Grinch that sole Christmas. Frosty the snowman. The year without a santa Claus. Rudolph’s shiny new year. This Christmas line up is terrible. I,m not watching this Network.
How about The Christmas List with Mimi Rogers, “Christmas in Handcuffs” with Mario Lopez and “The Otter Jug Band”.
Totally agree.
I usually love and can’t wait til 25 days countdown to christmas. But this year not so much! No real classics and too many repeats! I also enjoy the romance ones like 12 Dates of Christmas! Mistle-tones! The ones that you can not buy! Its a bumme this year. Hopefully next year will be better!!!

This is horrible, what are you repeating movies everyday??? Where is holiday in handcuffs more than one, snow globe, Santa clause 2, and others….
I Think Your Channel Can Do a Whole Lot Better Than What You’re Giving the Viewers at Home as far as the Christmas Lineup for 2017 . How about Re Adding More Rankin Bass Specials Like The First Christmas,The Adventures of Santa Claus, and The Leprechaun’s First Christmas Gold ?!?.
This lineup is horrible.
Bring the “true” classics back, Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown, Grin cheese during the normal evening viewing hours.
Exactly, Where’s Home Alone 2,3 and 4??
What about the movie ‘Prancer’ ?!
Hi Ashley, Prancer will be airing on AMC this year:
http://www.countdownuntilchristmas.com/christmas-movies-a-to-z/prancer/
The lineup is very disappointing this year it’s not a true Christmas without all the shows that you’re not showing won’t be watching free form
What about good older movies? The Christmas List, Holiday Inn, Christmas In My Hometown. How many times can you see Elf before wanting to pitch the tv out the window.
This year way too much repeating of same movies over and over. Shame on you.
The Christmas List with Mimi Rogers and Stella Stevens is one we look for every year and haven’t seen in several…what are you waiting for? How many times can people watch Elf in one year???
Yes we need more old classic movies Miracle on 24th strert, Its a wonderful life, Home Alone, A Charlie Brown Christmas, White Christmas, all the Rudolph movies, Frosty the Snowman and have the children shows come on while they are home and not 1,2,3am in the morning. Come on REALLY
I want more classics! .. and what happened to “Jingle all the way” this year??!
Super bummed you guys are not playing Christmas in Boston and most of your ABC Family Christmas classics! Instead just a handful of rotating Christmas movies you can watch on any channel or that most people already own. Hope you guys listen to your viewers and bring back the classic ABC Family Christmas movies as well as making new ones like you used to do.
I agree Rhonda! My wife is so sad It’s not going to be o this year. Well looks like we’re not watching the freeform station or shopping their advertisers. You re lose freeform. But I do know all the words from elf
Most of us have a little thing called a remote…if you can find it….and it will allow you to spend your time finding shows on other channels. Most of the complainers and whiners on here are asking for shows that have never been on this network, just look the last 6 years schedules are archived here. Use your remote or your dvr to record Rudolph, Charlie Brown, Home Alone, Santa Clause 2 and the others on one of the other 300 channels most of us have!
Took the words right out my mouth!!!
l completely agree that the old classics from the 1960’s, 70’s, and 80’s should still be played at times that people can actually watch them! l can’t exactly watch The Year Without A Santa Claus at 2:30am when l have work the next day!! No more repeats of the same three movies every night! Bring back the classic movies!
holiday in handcuffs one time? what happened to santa baby and santa baby 2?
i won’t be watching a lot of this line up
How many times are you showing Eloise at Christmas. Why not show some of the older movies, undercover Christmas, Secret Santa with Jennie Garth is a great movie. I see the Mistletones only twice early in the morning. That was new a couple years ago and a favorite of mine. Hope it will continue to air every year. Also these older movies can’t even be purchased.
Please do better next year. There are enough movies that you need not show the same ones over and over. Go back into the vault.
Where are the home alone movies they are a great christmas show plus the peanut shows all the charlie Brown christmas cartoons should be a must
Where is “Three Days” with Kristin Davis & Reed Diamond? It is such a good movie. Can’t you play it at least once. I see your playing “Elf” about 20 times………… can we have one “Three Days”
We are so sad it is not being shown this year 🙁
I agree Rhonda! My wife is so sad It’s not going to be o this year. Well looks like we’re not watching the freeform station or shopping their advertisers. You re lose freeform. But I do know all the words from elf
I would like to see Santa Clause 2 please. On here it says you are only showing the 1st and 3rd movie.
We want to see Santa Clause 2?why why why??????
Holiday in handcuffs only coming on for one day that sucks
I LOVE “THE POLAR EXPRESS”!!! CAN’T WAIT TO WATCH IT ALL 12 TIMES. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BROADCASTING THIS WONDERFUL, CLASSIC CHRISTMAS MOVIE!!
they play the classics way too early it might just be me but my family and i watch the classics all Christmas eve like It’s a wonderful life and the aforementioned polar express dont let this comment disrupt your plans
Where is rudolph and the island of misfit, toys you air it every year Arthur Christmas is stupid and dumb movie get rid of it and dont air that movie again and let me do ur lineup next year
I’m missing the peanuts gang! Charlie Brown and his sad little tree, Snoopy and Linus the theologian. Where are the peanuts classics?!
I would like to see Ebbie, A Holiday To Remember (Connie Selleca, Randy Travis), Christmas In My Hometown (Melissa Gilbert, Tim Matheson), Smokey Mountain Christmas (Dolly Parton, Lee Majors)……..some of the movies made during these times. There were a bunch of good ones but nobody has shown them for years now.
Oh, and the Mimi Rogers movie I have to agree about – The Christmas List. So sad not to have any of these aired anymore.
Love this movie!!!
Yes, The Christmas List is a sweet movie. Never released on DVD. Why doesn’t ABC Family convert it to HD and offer it as a pay per view. There is a large cult following.
I’m with Tina. Where are all the great ABC family movies. All the movies she mentioned plus The Christmas List with Mimi Rogers isn’t on the line up either. Those movies made the 25 Days of Christmas.
A fix of the old with new would have definitely showcased the spirit of Christmas plus be more appealing to multiple age groups for ratings.
Agreed! I love The Christmas List!
Me too. How about “Holiday in Handcuffs” with Mario Lopez and Emmit Otters Jug Band?
Where are the Home Alone movies? They are our faves!
I saw it listed on the schedule for the countdown TO the 25 days of Christmas, which starts this upcoming weekend. :]
What happened to all the good abc family christmas movies like Snowglobe, Christmas Cupid, 12 dates of Christmas, picking up & Dropping Off, Christmas Do-Over, & etc.! I mean maybe if they played some of these great Christmas Flics then they wudnt have to repeat all of the other ones over & over & over again!! Come on Freeform I National Lampoons just as much as the next guy but almost every other night & day is just too much!!
Why did they stop showing Christmas Every Day?!
It’s available on the app to watch On-Demand. I just checked it out last night 🙂
Why does the schedule only go up to December 18th? Its the 25 days of Christmas not 18!
It goes to 25
where’s the harry potter movies??
I want pinocchio christmas
So far, we are not seeing it on the schedule this year 🙁
It Appears Since Freeform Took Over ABC Family They haven’t Not Only Broadcast Rankin Bass’s Pinocchio’s Christmas, But also The First Christmas,The Adventures of Santa Claus,& The Leprechaun’s First Christmas Gold that was Told and Sung by Art Carney…
COOL
I want a Rankin bass marathon. Christmas classics marathon
That would be great! I remember when one Saturday every season was a Rankin Bass marathon. They haven’t done that in at least a few years unfortunately.
Agreed – it seems all the Classic Rankin Bass shows – the ones being aired at all – have been scheduled for the late at night, very early morning, or the middle of the school or work day.
Really disappointing.
For the most part – this schedule could be renamed The 25 Days of Repetitive Crap. It would be a more apt description.
Amen to that!
Very disappointed
I second that
I agree, love them and Miracle on 24th Street!
Yes!!!
