The network’s holiday programming kicks off on October 13th, and the first of its 20 new original movies of the season premieres Saturday, October 14th at 8pm.

Great American Family previously announced October 20th as the start date for its holiday lineup, but PEOPLE exclusively revealed that the elves at Great American Family have been working overtime — and the season will be starting a week early. The network’s 24-7 Christmas programming now begins on Friday, October 13th. The first of 20 new original Christmas movies debuts on Saturday, October 14th.

The season then continues with new movie premieres — featuring stars like Danica McKellar, Chad Michael Murray, Jen Lilley, and Bure herself — every week through December 23rd.

    So far I’m not too impressed with any of the channel’s lineups. Hopefully better shows will get updated as the holidays get closer but not holding my breath as it’s only 60 days until Christmas. CBS does have Rudolph but you’ll have to be quick to catch him as it’s being shown in November. The schedules just keep getting worse every year. Looks like my trusty old vcr/dvd player will be getting a work out this season.
