Hallmark Movies & Mysteries The Most Wonderful Miracles of Christmas

In September 2013, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries announced it’s first “The Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas” seasonal programming, duplicating the main Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” event. HMM later changed the annual events name to “The Most Wonderful Miracles of Christmas” in 2017. Tune in weekly throughout 2020 as Hallmark Movies & Mysteries presents “Miracles of Christmas Thursday Theater” – Thursday nights at 9pm ET.

I am trying to watch the Miracles of Christmas movies and Hallmark has lost a viewer. Get rid of the countdown graphic that covers up the closed captions! May be ok for the first act to the first commercial, but then get rid of it. Ugh! I just can’t watch without the captions.

I love Hallmark channels especially at Christmas. However, The same movies are played over and over when there are so many older movies that we love and never see anymore. Please play old and new movies and not repeat so many.

I have to agree with the majority of comments, in that this year’s line-up has been sub-standard. The Mrs. Miracle movies where shown in the middle of the night and not run during day time hours. The Christmas Ornament, one of my favorites as well was shown in odd hours as well and is not on the schedule for the rest of the season. Some people mentioned the continuity in your movies with your editing. I saw the errors too. One prominent one in “Christmas in Angel Falls”, Gabby is on her way to the big celebration, walking down the sidewalk in a white dress. By the time she gets to the “Community Center her dress turns red. Did she find a phone booth and do a Superwoman??? We faithful viewer really do, as your commercials have said for years, “When you care enough to send the very best.” Not your very best Hallmark. Fewer reruns, show all the movies and alter the time of showing so we can all have a chance to see our favs, and take more pride in the continuity of your work. Thank you.

Why aren’t you showing a season for miracles?

The nonsense of showing the more viewer-popular movies began about 4-5 yrs. ago & this year it is more prominent. They show what we have voted our best films after midnight & into 6:00 a.m. & their newer movies during the day & earlier evening times during the day. What I have done after sharing my opinion on their TV web sites is to not watch the channels that follow this practice & just watch the channels that do provide my favorites. My personal opinion is this: the quality of the Christmas authors/directors have gone downhill since our favorites were first shown. It’s no problem; we cannot change when they show what–but, we can watch only those we wish to see & that should tell them where their viewing patterns are.

Like you I am not getting up at 2AM to watch favorite Hallmark movies. They need to find a better way. Once again The Christmas Card has been put away for year while Godwink has been shown 10 times this season.

I am looking for the Hallmark Christmas movie “Holiday Road Trip (2013). It’s such a cute movie . Does anyone know if it will air this Christmas season, or if it will be released on DVD? Thanks !

Holiday Road Trip was released on ION tv, not a hallmark movie. Has been released on DVD. Google “Holiday Road Trip 2013”.

My favorite Hallmark Christmas movie of all time is A Season for Miracles. I do not see it playing this year.
The ratings for this movie are high and the story and characters have so much depth. I wish Hallmark would produce more movies of this quality. I also feel this a classic Christmas movie that should be shown every year

I agree that ASeason of Miracles is one of the best Christmas movies and I would like to see it back a on the schedule. Other favorites I would like to see more are The Christmas Card and Finding Christmas. Also, I am unable to print the schedule. Only the first page will print.

Yes, please play the older movies too, especially A Season for Miracles! My favorite. Love the Hallmark Christmas season. Also would really appreciate changing the too often story thread of successful women leaving their great jobs to be with their new loves. Only remember one storyline where the man joined the women where her life is. Not a good constant message!

Agree, both movies are great stories & can easily replace a couple of movies, that are duplicated several times on the playlist that are nowhere near as good.

Count my wife and me among those who are anxious to see A Season for Miracles. We look forward to seeing this movie every year. It’s far better than the current movies they show ad nauseum.

YES!!! Please BRING BACK “A Season for Miracles ” and “The Christmas Card”! They are BY FAR BETTER than MOST of the movies Hallmark has put out in the last few years. The SAME “Story LINES” are used OVER and OVER, AGAIN ever since producer, Larry Levinson left!
1)Going back home for Cmas where Ex-Boyfriends are still living ,
2)Pretending to be Boy/Girlfriends for the sake of family or bosses,
3)Developers buying Christmas Inns to redevelop.
      Etc…

I agree. A Season for Miracles is one of my favorites too. I think I saw it on once back in November, but missed it. It’s usually on several times throughout the holiday season, we were unaware that it was only going to be shown on the Hallmark App. We have no desire to sign up for the Hallmark App just to watch that movie. There isn’t many movies on the app that we want to see. Besides, we pay extra to get Hallmark Movies & Mysteries through Direct TV, I don’t see why we should have to pay for an extra service on top of the extra service we already buy. Please bring back A Season for Miracles back to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Another movie that is missing besides A Season for Miracles is Fallen Angel. These two movies are why I started watching Hallmark Movies to begin with. Like I said in another comment, we pay extra for HM&M through our satellite company, we shouldn’t have to pay for Hallmark Now in addition to this.

I agree with all of you, some are too cheesy as well. In addition
to the movies already mentioned, A Dog Named Christmas is another good one as
well as Silent Night with Linda Hamilton.
Seems that it would be in Hallmarks best interest to slow down on putting out more new movies (with redundant story lines) and rotate the older “good”
        movies in the mix.

I agree. Instead of releasing “22 new holiday movies”, try releasing a couple QUALITY ones, and play the better movies more often.

I just wish you would make a printable list of all the movies on your countdown to Christmas 2018 for both Hallmark stations. It would really help to see a movie of everyone’s taste. Besides you can do that quickly I imagine but I can’t do it at all. I sometimes make notes for the following year, so when I have to chose which to see I’ll know which one would be the most fun for my family.

By the way, for my birthday my kids ordered over 15 videos of Hallmark movies. I loved it and they do too.

I watch Hallmark all the time except during the christmas in July and from Oct-january. This leaves me flipping channels trying to find something to watch. Wish I could just turn off Hallmark during that time and not have to pay for it. Christmas should be in December only just for a couple of weeks not down our throats more than that. Everyone is not into Christmas…….

I disagree. I really enjoy “Christmas in July”. It helps get our minds off of the 100°+ weather during the summer months. Hallmark, please continue to show them like you have the past several years now. I love that there were 2 weeks of them this past July.
