I think you might be reading a bit too much into it …it was written by kids with their beloved animals is how I took it. We can be offended by EVERYTHING if you look hard enough

I have been a fan for years of Hallmark Movies, and have referred many other viewers to watch Hallmark movies. Hallmark movies have represented wholesomeness, core values for life and relationships…This year I’m noticing changes that in my opinion are disrupting the values that I have for so many years learned to cherish and admire about your movies. I know that I represent thousands of other viewers that are noticing the subtle changes that have been taking place in your movies. I feel there’s no need for me to write about these changes because, I know you are well aware of them. However, there is one thing I want to bring to your attention leaving everything else aside, in hope that the Hallmark organization would reconsider that making decisions based on political views is truly not in the best interest of Hallmarks continued success, and values. Last night Cross Country Christmas Premiered and once again I got hit with an unexpected scene which I personally was very offended by. I did not appreciate on the Nativity scene a dog being used to represent baby Jesus our Lord and Savior..What were you thinking? And how could you possibly think that this would not offend your faithful viewers. For me that was the straw that broke the camels back as the saying goes. I couldn’t reach for my Remote fast enough to shut this movie off. It was extremely offensive. I will not recommend Hallmark to others again. Hallmark, was that special place to run to when you wanted to leave the mess of our culture and media behind and you turn to Hallmark. Slowly you are becoming like the rest, slowly you no longer represent that place of refuge. I wish I could understand why you feel the need to lower your values. Why fix what has worked, what has brought you the blessings you have enjoyed. I wish you would reconsider the direction you’ve chosen to pursue. That you would choose to be that light on top of the hill, where your viewers can look up and receive
guidance, hope and inspiration. I know I’m one small voice
In the wilderness, yet I hope it’s loud enough for you to harken..
