I am certainly against racism but snubbing the movie Holiday Inn is really ridiculous. The Abraham routine was not an attempt to promote racism but simply a refection of history and the cultural segregation of the 1940’s. They have to be viewed from a historical perspective. The movie is a classic. The attitudes of the some of the critics may reflect some of their own prejudices and self righteousness. These type movies can serve as a historical reminder of how far we have come as a nation.
