Movie Summary
Rudolph, whose red nose makes him a North Pole outcast, heads out on an odyssey that leads him to a showdown with the Abominable snowman. When Rudolph returns to the North Pole, amid a ferocious storm sure to cancel Santa’s trip, the reindeer-with-your-nose-so-bright’s destiny becomes apparent.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was originally released on NBC December 6, 1964. CBS acquired the rights in 1972 and in 2019, Freeform (formerly ABC Family) began airing the made for tv special as part of its 25 Days of Christmas holiday programming block.

Rudolph will air on the 9th and 13th this year 🙂
It doesn’t show up on the channel line up for December 14.Running a search, it only shows up one time, in November 🙁

Why the heck is one of the best christmas movies of all time on before Thanksgiving??? Come on really, I start setting my dvr ON dEC 1 not November!!! Please play it again!!!
What!? I missed it too. It has never been on before Thanksgiving before. It is usually the week after. This is not fair! Please show it again.
Rudolph is only on ONE day before thanksgiving!!!!! I missed it so now I have to wait till next year? It’s a classic, it should be on more than once. VERY disappointed…
I Agree! I recorded it and my kids deleted it on accident! So much for my favorite Christmas movie of all time this year!! Completely bummed 🙁
