Great American Christmas

The networks holiday lineup “Great American Christmas” premiered the same year. What a fantastic website! The countdown feature is so much fun and gets me even more excited for Christmas. I love how you’ve curated a great collection of family-friendly content, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Keep up the great work, and I can’t wait to see what holiday delights you have in store for us this year. Cheers, Gary Ford.

I am an avid GAC watcher and I love Christmas, but the idea of Christmas movies 24/7 starting in October through the rest of the year is just too much. I love your programming especially Murder, She Wrote and Columbo and Diagnosis Murder. Yes, I am an old boomer. I’ll still watch a few movies during that time but will cut back my GAC viewing extensively until the first of the year. Hopefully you will retain some of these old favorites when regular programming resumes.

TV watching today has become so polluted with sexual filth and FAKE reality that it’s not enjoyable. Neither are the HIGH prices that cable and dish companies charge for such foolishness is worth it. Although I don’t care for Christmas in July movies, I would watch those before I watch the garbage that’s on present day TV. By the way, DON’T TOUCH Murder She Wrote and COLUMBO!! (someone misspelled the name in a previous post). Also try adding comedy shows to your networks like those in the 70’s.

Please change the programming. I can’t watch those shows over and over all day every day. I only turn to it now is for Christmas movies.

Some of those yuck, but I do like the Brady Bunch. not crazy about Colombo, but still love murder she wrote. How about bewitched, Mary Tyler Moore show, Dick Van Dyke show? But please no leave it to Beaver… Can’t believe I actually liked that program when I was young.

I Was really excited about the aspect of a new channel with movies similar to Hallmark with actors I have loved. However as the year has progressed, I’m so disappointed with the lack of quality movies. Unfortunately, Hallmark channel is producing more movies and with less of the content that was so upsetting to me. I still choose not to watch new Hallmark movies that do not align with my beliefs, but unless GAC starts to produce more quality movies, you leave me no choice but to continue to watch Hallmark.

I love the movies! The main reason i pay extra is for them.
But disappointed there are so few of them. I liked columbo, murder she wrote, full house and little house on the prairie the first ten or times they have been shown on different channels.
But please please more movies. Hallmark is winning on the year round movies.

I was wondering if there is a way to still see the Christmas movies? I had about 2 dozen recorded and didn’t even watch half of them and AT&T messed up my cable even though everything showed the same on my pacakage and they deleted almost every recording I had all of my Christmas movies are gone and it literally made me cry since the only thing I do besided work 2 jobs and take care of my animals is watch my DVR.

I am terribly disappointed with the idea of 24 /7 Christmas—-in July yet. I have so enjoyed the last few weeks showing some old favorites. I wish you well on this new plan. The general idea of Hallmark style movies on and on… does not interest me. I won’t be watching anymore.

I agree with you 100% Marilyn about the Christmas movies 24/7. I love Christmas Season, but when it’s 100 degrees an higher outside I don’t want to see Christmas!! I don’t care for the Christmas 24/7 starting in October thru 1st part of January either. Come on, lots of people prefer more of the good television shows, love Murder She Wrote, how about Diagnosis Murder, some of the older series like Rockford Files, Magnum PI, and many others to choose from, Believe me, romance and Christmas I can only take so much of.

What happened to the 24/7 Christmas movies for all the month of July? Now they are only on in the evenings. I love Christmas movies and was enjoying watching them all day and night. Why was it changed?
