Countdown to Christmas Schedule

From the last weekend in October until January 1st, Hallmark Channel runs the seasonal block called Countdown to Christmas, featuring a mix of holiday movies, specials and holiday-themed original programming. Countdown to Christmas officially began in 2009, while the channel’s first holiday original movie was aired in 2000. Since 2012, the network has also held a “Christmas in July” event with airings of previous movies. In February 2019, it was announced that in honor of the upcoming 10th anniversary of the Countdown to Christmas event, the channel would air selections of movies on Friday nights throughout the year. “Christmas Fridays” on Hallmark is continuing in 2023.

Christmas in July on Hallmark begins July 1st

Christmas in July will kick off on the Hallmark Channel Saturday, July 1, 2023!

Every day from 10am until 10pm (Eastern) tune in for back-to-back holiday movies. ALL HOLIDAY MOVIES, ALL DAY, ALL MONTH LONG. Hallmark will air fan-favorite movies July 1st through July 4th. Viewers can vote to include their favorite movies through weekly polls launching every Monday on the Hallmark Movie Checklist app.
