Classic Christmas Movies
Every November and December, Turner Classic Movies (also known as TCM) airs classic Christmas movies and other holiday related programs. Movies typically include older versions of “A Christmas Carol” along with black-and-white holiday favorites like The Bishop’s Wife, and Christmas in Connecticut.

No Holiday Inn??? …last time I saw it on TCM, about 5 years ago, the commentator made a disclaimer regarding the use of “black face”…really? The movie was made in 1942…TCM is becoming too woke…on the flip side, will they have an “offence disclaimer ” prior to “Brokeback mountain “? …really? …simulated sex between men….I’m sure many people may find that offensive, also……..
Where is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn?
WTH….short list for sure. The Bishops wife, 1 time, seriously.Miracle on 34th street, the original, wow you are slipping TCM. And Holiday Inn….I am disappointed in Turner CLASSIC movies……
I too am disappointed at the short list. And so few times/ days.
Prev. there were many more movies shown during the holiday season.
Sad.
What goes on here? Where is Susan Slept Here, The Cheaters, The Holly and The Ivy, The Lemon Drop Kid, Come to the Stable, Miracle On 34th Street, a Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story, White Christmas, and Holiday Inn?????
We depend on TCM in December for our older Christmas movies.
The Christmas movies made years ago are so much better than the movies that are being made now. Your programming department needs to WAKE UP and listen to what your subscribers want to see!!
What happened to White Christmas?
The same few movies keep repeating. What a drag!!!!!!!L!
Come on now, Mankiewicz,Karger, Malone et. al. Why are you omitting REMEMBER THE NIGHT this year? Take out one of the IT HAPPENED ON 5TH AVE showings and insert the best MacMurray/Stanwyck film there is…PLEASE>!
I forgot Remember the Night!! A Christmas favorite of many people!!
There sure are a lot of ‘classic’ movies and shows missing from the list
Very disappointing list of Christmas movies this year!
What?!? No “We’re No Angels” with Humphrey Bogart, Aldo Ray, & Peter Ustinov?
The Holly and the Ivy. Oh please show it!
That is it? Come on now, TCM can do better than that.
Where is Remember the Night? IAWL?
How about some classic cartoons that have Christmas themes. Merrie Melodies, Looney Tunes, etc
have a lot of Christmas themed cartoon shorts.
This is where I come to watch Christmas movies that have a real Christmas feel/message, rather than some of the trash that is out these days.
Where’s Holiday Inn? The Holly and the Ivy? Miracle on 34th Street with Natalie Wood? A CHRISTmas Carol with Alistair Sim? A CHRISTmas Carol with Reginald Owen? The Man Who Came to Dinner? Geez, TCM you have changed and not for the good or for tradition!!!

I see that Holiday Affair is scheduled after all and thank you so much. I just love it!
I fell in love with it after 1st viewing that I bought it. Watch it 4 or 5 times a year.
