The problem I’m seeing on TCM is they list one movie & show a completely different movie! On 4-6-24 they listed: A Touch of Venus, but what was shown was Ads for TCM. The movie was slotted for 8:45pm-11:00pm, but nothing but TCM ads! With ImOn/TCM you can not get what you paid for! This happens on other channels also. Very Poor ImOm!
Just looked over the TCM “Christmas” movie list and once again am disappointed – all of the best vintage Christmas movies are not being shown – It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street with Maureen O’Hara – not the awful modern remake, A Christmas Carol with Alistair Sim and Holiday Inn are our favorites – so sad! From Thanksgiving onward, TCM should have a full month of Christmas movies but the Christmas movies are just tokens – and not the best ones either. If you want to keep subscribers TCM, make some effort to create a real Christmas Countdown for next year!
Sad, just sad. No Charlie Brown Christmas either – will be on Apple TV +. Don’t have so will miss watching.
Well said.. They never play the Shirley temple Christmas Classics neither. Especially “HEIDI”
Cant believe the original “Miracle on 34th Street” is not being shown.
The original Miracle on 34th Street will be airing on AMC this year:

Why is “Scrooge”, with Alistair Sim (1951), not on your schedule?
Probably because TMC aired about 4 Christmas movies the entire month. I have no idea what’s going on.
Why doesn’t the voice match up to the movies today. December 18. A couple of my favorites are on but turned the channel.
Why isn’t “Holiday Inn” on the Schedule?
My thoughts exactly. It’s a classic.
I’m disappointed Three Godfathers with John Wayne is not on the schedule. It’s my favorite John Wayne movie.
Why are you not running the movie White Christmas? Thank you for the info
Hi Anna, AMC has the rights this year to air White Christmas: https://www.countdownuntilchristmas.com/amc-best-christmas-ever/
I don’t see Harvey on tcm this xmas why?????
What about “I’ll be seeing you ” with Joseph Cotten & Ginger Rogers?
Hi Frank, I haven’t seen I’ll Be Seeing You on the schedule as of yet. If that changes, I’ll get it posted.
With commercials on AMC…ugh! Glad I own all the DVDs that folks are asking for, TCM isn’t airing, and watched them!
I saw an ad for” It’s a Wonderfl Life” It said it was on Dec. 18th and 21st, but I can’t find it on your schedule. What’s the deal?
I also looked for it. Why isn’t it being shown?
And where’s Miracle on 34th Street; It’s a Wonderful Life???
I am guessing many of the streaming services now own the rights to most of the Christmas classics. We watched the original “Miracle on 34th Street” on Amazon Prime (for free b/c it is included in the subscription price)
But what happened to “Since You Went Away”??
Since it begins with and ends with Christmas, TCM always aired it during the holidays.
Why isn’t A Christmas Carol staring George C Scott being aired on your channel?
Deb
Unfortunately, as of today, it is not scheduled to air on any channel this holiday season (2022). The version with George C Scott is my personal favorite, very disappointing.
