Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas

Countdown to Christmas Schedule

From the last weekend in October until January 1st, Hallmark Channel runs the seasonal block called Countdown to Christmas, featuring a mix of holiday movies, specials and holiday-themed original programming. Countdown to Christmas officially began in 2009, while the channel’s first holiday original movie was aired in 2000. Since 2012, the network has also held a “Christmas in July” event with airings of previous movies. In February 2019, it was announced that in honor of the upcoming 10th anniversary of the Countdown to Christmas event, the channel would air selections of movies on Friday nights throughout the year. “Christmas Fridays” on Hallmark is continuing in 2024.

Can On The 12th Date of Christmas please be released on DVD/Blu-ray or Amazon Prime video? After watching it several times, it’s become my all time favorite Hallmark movie and it’s a must buy! I want to be able to watch it whenever I want.

Please consider keeping the Golden girls in the holiday line up because it’s a constant I’m used to I’m alone with no one on holidays that consistency provides comfort

Hallmark, We so enjoy your specials this time of the year, and look forward to your new creations. We like how you’ve added new cast and plots and stories. But last night we did not appreciate The Christmas House!!! We do not need or want to see two men kissing on our screen!!! We count on you for appropriate presentations that don’t need to be screened for our family, children, and grandchildren!!! That’s just what we want to explain on Thanksgiving Day!!! Very, Very disappointed in you!!! You do not have to look like the world to retain viewers!!! Many people are looking for integrity, goodness, peace, and joy, and for decent family values.

Seriously, you need to get with the times. Christmas house was one of my favorites because it showed diversity. You are what is wrong with this world. There is no reason for hate. Love is love. I am a married woman raptor a man, but would never tell anyone who they should love. You are teaching hatred to those in your family. Go ahead and keep you head in the sand. But I applaud Hallmark on making strides towards showing all types of love.

Judging that two men kissing does not show goodness, peace, and joy? Love how “thou shalt not judge” applies to everyone else but you.

Instead of repeat after repeat or starting before Thanksgiving bring back some of the well known family oriented Christmas movies. Smokey Mountain Christmas with Dolly Parton. Its the best!!

I was wondering about the older Christmas Movies. Why they can’t be broadcast on regular TV? For those of us that don’t have cable stations.
It would make our Holidays better if we can see those movies.

Thank you Hallmark for starting all the Christmas movies early. I was so excited to watch the “Snow Bride” was on today. Though I have recorded on my DVR. Hallmark has so many Movies I love and have saved so many on my DVR. My only problem now is my DVR is at 98% full and With all the new Hallmark Christmas movies I have fallen in love with I don’t know how I’m going to manage these movies. Once again Hallmark hasn’t let me down with their new 2020 movies! Thank you for bringing all these wonderful movies into our lives and making Christmas so special not just with all the past movies but the new movies as well and brings back memories of watching them with my late husband before he passed away and than when I moved in with my mother watching them day and night before she passed away. Now I’ve been making wonderful memories with my son! Thank you Hallmark for making Christmas such a special time of year with all your wonderful movies!

I’m of the same opinion. Christmas in July is awful and even more so when it starts October 24, 2020 and runs to the week before Christmas. Not to mention that they show the Christmas movies 24/7. There are no choices and it takes away the meaning of Christmas.

I Love Christmas in July and I love you started all my favorite Christmas movies early this year! Heck many stores had their Christmas items up for sale before Halloween. So, I totally disagree with Jackie! Sorry Jackie but I love Christmas in July and that they started all my favorite movies early this year!

I grew up watching the Golden Girls and enjoyed the show and the ensemble of characters. However, you devote way to much of your channel to that show. Time to switch it up a bit. I honestly change the channel when it comes on the line up. I love your channel but I need a break from that show.

Do the movies aired in October and November rerun in December? My husband loves these movies, but he doesn’t start Christmas until Thanksgiving is over. I was going to buy a Hallmark Pass for him, but I want to make sure he can see all the movies he missed in Oct and Nov.
