Beginning Thanksgiving weekend, ION Television will once again be “Your Home for the Holidays.” Featuring a festive lineup of fan favorites, ION is kicking off the holiday season in November 2023, with special holiday fare airing weekends in December through Christmas Day.

No movies are currently scheduled through Monday, December 25th on the regular ION Television channel, we realize this is a huge disappointment for so many. Hopefully ION will reconsider and reverse this poor decision next year.
ION Plus TV will be airing holiday movies all day weekdays now through Christmas day. ION Plus is available to stream for free through Amazon Freevee.

We have for years watched ION Christmas movies on ION and and to find out they are on is very disappointing, please bring them back.

I Agree! ION, was the best when it came to Christmas Movies. I have Antenna TV, No Cable, Fire Stick, or Any WiFi. I don’t get Hallmark Channels, or any Normal Channels.

It can’t be said enough–Christmas movies have been part of an anticipated holiday tradition every year. It’s been empty around the house without them. They are so much fun; such mood lifters; and a source of comfort. Watching these movies is like visiting with old friends–which is part of what the holidays are about. What a shame to dump them onto streaming services with no respect or consideration for the viewers. As a senior viewer on a very limited budget, all these $$-making services have to be eliminated from the budget! Please, oh PLEASE consider bringing the wonderful Christmas movies back to your loyal viewers. What a thoughtful Christmas present that would be!
I agree with everyone….PLEASE bring ION Christmas movies back. We looked forward to them every year, and we can’t afford streaming services. Up until this year, it seemed like the whole point of ION and ION Plus was having an alternative to streaming services.
Please bring back the Christmas movies during the month of December on Ion TV not Ion TV plus since that is a streaming service which cannot be seen on public broadcast with out cable. After all these years your channel decided to broadcast over a streaming service for the holiday movies what a let down.

Please bring back the Holiday Christmas movies. A number of us don’t have immediate family; the movies help lift us up. You are doing an injustice to us trying to force us to pay for something. We only get so much money as it is. I guess big money wins out. Now that’s the holiday spirit.

What the heck? Every year until now, ION DFW 68
1 showed heartwarming Christmas movies every Saturday and Sunday all day…now nothing!!! Urrrrgh,not all of us have cable or even want to pay for streaming services!!! Bring back the holiday movies, stat!!!! I have zero family, I look forward to these movies!!! I’m so tired of all the good stuff moving to streaming platforms 😠 totally ridiculous just to charge us more and more 😠

So angry. I too can not afford streaming. I am 34, female working 2 jobs, loved watching the holiday movies for free on the weekends. Bye Bye ION. Maybe the CW should start producing Christmas fare.
