Beginning Thanksgiving weekend, ION Television will once again be “Your Home for the Holidays.” Featuring a festive lineup of fan favorites, ION is kicking off the holiday season in November 2023, with special holiday fare airing weekends in December through Christmas Day.

No movies are currently scheduled through Monday, December 25th on the regular ION Television channel, we realize this is a huge disappointment for so many. Hopefully ION will reconsider and reverse this poor decision next year.
ION Plus TV will be airing holiday movies all day weekdays now through Christmas day. ION Plus is available to stream for free through Amazon Freevee.

I am so upset!!! I have watch ION’s Christmas shows for years!!! Last year, I was only able to watch one beloved Christmas show on ION. Life challenges got in the way. This year, I have been looking forward to sitting down and watching as many as possible. I even worked my schedule around to make sure I could do just that. Then, UNBELIEVABLE, you have to pay! You are getting greedy at Christmas?! Shame on ION! I live in the country with an antenna. I tried to get the ION Plus, but our hotspot wasn’t strong enough. So, no ION Christmas shows for this family! After last year’s challenges, I was trying to find as much “holiday feel good” shows as I could to help our teenagers, and us, enjoy this time of year. Very sad. =((

What a huge disappointment that you refuse to show holiday movies on regular tv to those of us without streaming services. Shame on you that money comes first. I have always looked forward to these….disappointed in Michigan.

I was so looking forward to watching the Christmas movies on ion,just to find that they are no longer being aired. Very sad. Just be all about making money.
I have always watched Christmas movies each year on ION Television. I am so disappointed that they have been moved to a streaming service that requires payment to watch. I am boycotting all of the current shows on ION that I have loved watching because of this move. I know that 1 person will make no difference to you.
I am a 71 year old senior lady. I love watching these Christmas movies, but like so many right now, I cannot afford to pay to enjoy Christmas! I get little joy out of life being alone and was counting on ion TV for Christmas pleasure. One Sad Human😞

My adult intellectual disabled son and I looked forward to your Christmas movies but the only day you aired them was on Thanksgiving what about Christmas eve and day? I have an antenna and cant pull in ion plus. I’m become so disappointed with ion lately because it’s the same shows over and over for years and now I don’t get Christmas movies. Just like everyone else in the corporate world greedy!
What a shame that ION made this decision. The spirit of Christmas, if only in a movie, is something many people looked forward to. Even streaming services are charging for traditional Christmas movies. How commercial and money centered. How I long for the Christmas specials, movies, and television shows I grew up on.
I very disappointed in ion on there decision to not show Christmas show you guys made very very poor judgment on that. Christmas is wonderful time of the year and Christmas movies makes people happy you need rethink for next year!! Not make that mistake again!! That is something I love watching on that channel.
I look forward to Christmas movies on ION. It’s become tradition to have a break from all the negativity that seems to get worse every year. Bring them back!

I agree please bring them back next year. And there are some people that are physical disabilty and can’t work. So some of us are on disability and can’t afford streaming services either.
Okay i just went to ION website this morning Sunday – 12/10/2023 that “ION Plus” will have the Holiday Movies on Weekdays(Mon-Fri) through 12/25/2023.
I will try to search it online if i’am able to watch some of the movies.
If ION Plus is offered from your Local Antenna Channell,try it there or if you have Satellite or Cable.
Hopefully next Year they will just put the movies back to regular ION Channel,so that it will be easier to watch
Why did ION decide to cut Christmas movies? We should all know by now it is money. Shame on your shortsightedness. I no longer watch ION and neither do any of my neighbors, colleagues or friends. I hope you will come to regret your decision.
I really upset that I can no longer see the Christmas movies on in TV this year. So so disappointed. So hard and seniors who can’t afford to have every single streaming service there is. Please bring them back.
